One assignment that all 3rd graders at Midas Creek Elementary have to complete is the Wax Museum. The students choose someone that they want to learn about and then are asked to do a written report, oral report then participate in the Wax Museum. At the Wax Museum, the kids have to recite a 30 second diddy about the person they are reporting on. The kids are also asked to dress up as the person they are reporting on. Kaleb chose Abraham Lincoln to report on. Kaleb worked so hard on his written report and oral report. I helped Kaleb make a stove pipe hate to wear with his black suit and bow tie. He really looked the part and played the part of Honest Abe. We are so proud of Kaleb and how hard he works at everything that is asked of him. Way to go Dude!
Family isn't always blood. It's the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what!

Portraits
I recently had the opportunity to get some portraits taken by a talented friend of mine. My friend Stephanie Sant messaged me on Facebook and wanted to know if I would help her out and be a "model" for her for a day to help her gain some practice taking portraits .Stephanie is trying to get her photography company up and running. She also took our Family pictures this past fall and I love the work that she does!
I love pictures and haven't had portraits taken since High School. I was excited to help out my friend. Another perk of getting my portraits done was that Stephanie is also working with a friend of hers who does makeup. So I ended up getting my makeup done professionally and portraits taken for free. It was such a fun experience and I enjoyed spending time with my friend Stephanie and helping her out. I am thrilled with the portraits Stephanie took and am looking forward to printing out a few to give to Mark to place on his desk at work.

St. Patricks Day!
Each year on St. Patricks Day, the Leprechauns visit our home. The night before, the kids leave out their shoes for the Leprechauns and the Leprechauns come to our house and fill the kids shoes with little treats or treasures. This year didn't disappoint. Kaleb is getting quite smart at this whole tradition and told Karmindy that if they put out their "BIG" shoes that the Leprechaun would have to fill their shoes with more loot. So of course, out came their big shoes. The leprechauns came and left the kids sprites, Lucky charms and their own boxes of Mack and Cheese. There were also gold coins sprinkled around by the front door. The Leprechauns must have tripped and their gold must have gone everywhere. When the kids woke up they sure were excited about their treasures.
Karmindy has afternoon Kindergarten which has been nice for her since she likes to sleep in. It is also nice because then I can have time to do fun things with her hair. I saw a cute hairstyle on Pinterest and decided to try it on Karmindy. We made a Shamrock with her hair. Karmindy was thrilled to have a pretty hairstyle to wear to school and not get pinched.
We sure love the Holidays at the Frisbey house! I love celebrating the holidays with my kids and making it magical for them. I hope they will never forget this!

Crafting with My Chicky!
Karmindy and I had a slow Saturday afternoon one weekend while the boys were out running errands. While the boys were off shopping, I asked Karmindy if she would like to make some crafts with me. She said she wanted to and was so excited and couldn't wait to get started. I told her she could paint her own craft and she was so excited to make a "big girl" craft with me to display along with all the other crafts I have showcased around the house for Spring time. I really loved spending time with my little girl and Karmindy seemed to enjoy our crafting time with me as well. I look forward to many more years of spending time with my little girl and doing more fun activities like this. I love having a little girl. Karmindy is such a joy in my life and I am so proud to be her momma.
A few weeks prior to our little Mom/Daughter crafting session, I made this LUCKY sign to display on my mantle in my living room for St. Patricks Day. I really love crafting and decorating my house with the creations I make.

Date Night With Friends
I love where we live and have made such close friends with a few of the gals in my neighborhood. I truly have been blessed with good friends while living here in Riverton. It is so fun to be able to have girls nights and to double date with some of my girls friends and their hubbies.
My friend Natalie Bradford and I decided to take our guys to dinner at Red Robin and then hit up the bowling alley in Sandy one Saturday night. Mark and I had so much fun spending time with Jason and Natalie. We are so grateful for their friendship!
