I can't believe the day has come for Kaleb to be baptized. The past 8 years have flown by. What wonderful years they have been. Kaleb has been such a wonderful son and he has taught me so much in the past eight years. What an honor it is to be his mom. Kaleb truly has such a great spirit and I am amazed at what a great spirit he is. He has always wanted to choose the right and has always been a wonderful example to us as his parents and to his little sister. Several months prior to Kaleb's eighth birthday we started focusing our family home evenings on baptism and preparing to make the choice to be baptized. When we would ask Kaleb what he would like to do he never hesitated and had such a great desire to be baptized. I am so proud of Kaleb's decision but would have been proud of him regardless.
Kaleb was Baptized on February 2nd 2013, Groundhogs day. Kaleb's special day was wonderful, he had many close friends and family in attendance on his special day to witness his baptism. As his parents, we gave him the opportunity to choose who he would like to speak at his baptism and he made the decision to have his Grandpa Craig DeMille to speak on Baptism and he also chose his cousin Roxanne Ball to speak on the Holy Ghost. Both Grandpa and Roxanne did a beautiful job in speaking and the Holy Ghost was felt so strong as they spoke. Kaleb also chose both of his Grandpas to be the witnesses as he was Baptized and what a wonderful thing that was to be able to know that both of his Grandpa's were able to be a witness to Kaleb's Baptism.
I am also grateful to Kaleb for being such a wonderful example to his little sister and showing her the right way to live and be happy. Kaleb we love you and are so proud of your decision. I hope Kaleb will always remember his special day and remember the importance of receiving the Holy Ghost and listening to its promptings. What a wonderful gift from our Heavenly Father!! I also hope that Kaleb will always have the desire to follow his Heavenly Father's Plan because it is truly the only way to live and be happy.
Kaleb we love you so much and hope you always know how very proud we are of you! Congratulations Sweet Boy!!

Karmindy was so excited for her brother to be Baptized.
Kaleb's Baptism took place only a week and a half after me having gall bladder surgery so I wasn't thinking clearly or feeling that great and in a rush to vacate the room for the next baptism I failed to get anymore pictures with his other set of Grandparents and his Aunts and Uncles. I have felt really bad about that. :( I hope he will forgive me for this.
